Biography:

Judge Kenneth P. Calton is a resident of the City of Wells, was elected to the bench in 2018, and began presiding over cases in 2019, after the retirement of his mother Senior Judge Patricia Calton.

Judge Calton grew up in Wells, NV; graduated from Wells High School in 1990; attended Boise State University and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1998. Judge Calton continues to reside in Wells with his wife and children.

Judge Calton began working for Elko County more than 20 years ago, starting in the Juvenile Detention Center, and later moving to the Child support Division, and now, serves as the Justice of the Peace and Municipal Judge for the Wells township, Wells Justice/Municap Court.
